Jacqueline K. Dixon

Jacqueline K. Dixon was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2004, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Charleston School of Law in 2007.

During her time in law school, Jacqueline clerked for the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office where she was able to assist in trial preparation and observe many criminal trials.

After law school, Mrs. Dixon clerked for the Honorable Carmen T. Mullen in Beaufort, South Carolina. During her clerkship she was involved in the pre-trial phases of many construction defect cases and assisted in conducting legal research, writing orders and advising on rulings.

Mrs. Dixon returned to the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in 2008 where she handled upwards of 600 open warrants at any given time. She was involved in trials ranging from drug cases to violent crimes. She has experience in criminal defense as well
as domestic litigation.
